Love to hear from you; “Send us a Text Message”

Your day is getting formed before you even realize it and your phone is usually the one doing the forming. We walk through a simple on-ramp to the Claymore Battle Plan that cuts through the confusion and gives you a clear starting line you can actually stick with.

We break down the two key resources the Claymore Battle Plan is built around: the Handbook and the Battle Plan Outline (only a few pages).

From there, we give you two daily actions. First is the Claymore 10-minute morning ritual, anchored by one rule that changes everything: “knees before the phone.”

Second is reading one short Act each day, letting it sink in with a real pause so it moves from your head to your heart. We also highlight Act 11 as a practical guide for praying with temptations when the pressure is real.

If you’re doing Claymore with a friend, a fraternity, or a parish men’s group, we explain why one Act at a time creates better conversations and long-term momentum.

Begin today! Then share it with one guy who needs it. Subscribe, leave a review, and send this to a friend!

Welcome And Getting Started

SPEAKER_00

Welcome to Claymore. Glad you're here. We've had some questions about just getting started, and getting started

Handbook Vs Outline And Where To Get Them

SPEAKER_00

so easy. There's really two parts. One is the Claymore Battle Plan Handbook. It's thicker. And one is the Claymore Battle Plan Outline. Very thin, very small, only a few pages. And you're going to need you're going to need something out of each one. And so if you don't have the outline itself, the smaller one, go to our website under battle plan, you'll be able to print this out or read it right online. I suggest you print it out. So that's it. Start with these two pieces right here. If you order from Amazon, you only got this, so just go to a website and get this. If you order from our website, you would already receive both of those, plus a few other things. All right.

The Two Actions To Begin

SPEAKER_00

So what do I do? You really need just to keep in mind these two actions. So right in the middle of that thin outline, go to the Claymore

Knees Before The Phone

SPEAKER_00

10-minute morning ritual. This is the first action step. Always. Knees before the phone. Knees before the phone. Prayer before you look at the phone. You don't have to have any prior knowledge of prayer. You can be totally new or you could be have prayed your whole life. Still, we want you to follow these steps less than 10 minutes in the morning. Okay.

Praying With Temptations Using Act 11

SPEAKER_00

Number two of that Claymore 10-minute morning ritual is praying with temptations. The only note I'd make there is that Act 11. Remember, we call each one of those chapters Acts because they're very short, easy to read, five, six, seven minutes. So, anyways, read Act 11. It's going to show you exactly how to pray with temptations. It's a tremendous gift, guys. Okay, so that's the first thing. Knees before the phone. Always, always, always. If you do this on a regular basis, it's going to start to change your heart. There's no doubt about it. It

One Act A Day And How To Reflect

will. Number two, then, is just to read one of these acts sometime during the day. The acts are short, they take you five minutes. Ten-minute morning ritual, always for me. Always knees before the phone. And I like to read one of those acts at night. And because you're filling yourself up, you're opening yourself up to divine grace. You're going vertical, and then you're filling in this content that goes from your head to your heart right before you go to bed, you know, instead of doom scrolling. You can read as fast as you want. The only caveat I would say is between each act, they build on each other and extend out. Each act, just meditate for a little while. Just pause there. So I read one act, I've got some time, I'm going to read another one. Just pause there. Think about what you just read because again, we want to get it from our heads to our hearts, and then over time have the vocabulary to share this with other

Small Group Pace And One Act Weekly

SPEAKER_00

people. Now, if you are sharing this already with a brother, a friend, a neighbor, etc., or in small group, which a lot of guys are doing, again, you can read the handbook at your own pace. You know, read ahead a little bit. Just don't go slower, but read ahead a little bit, always going back and referring to that outline on a regular basis. But when you do small group or you share it with somebody, just do uh share one act at a time. Uh there's plenty of content and each act to talk about, and we want time to share our own hearts, right? How this is affecting me or my friend or the small group. And you bring this all together. So don't move too faster. And if you do one of those a week, there's a lot of material here. 52 acts that's created uh to be one for each week for a whole year's material. And so that's the way I would do it. You read at your own pace. Some guys go a little faster. I like to read, so sometimes I can plow through things a little bit quicker. Just pause in between each act a little bit, think about it. But when you're sharing it with another person, I'd really suggest doing one act at a time. And that's it. All

Questions, Contact Options, And Sendoff

SPEAKER_00

right. If you have any questions, go to contacts. You can email us. We have uh the podcast. You can you can go through and find different ways to implement this Claymore battle plan with, say, in your parish or with your friends, your fraternity, whatever works for you. The main thing is you get started. There's a real need out there. There's a lot of guys are just asking a lot of questions, and you can bring the answers first to yourself and then to them. That's what Claymore is all about, to be able to share this, huh? God bless you. Thanks for being with us. Talk to you again soon. Bye bye, everyone.
